Walter is a supporting anti-hero in Get Out.

Biography[]

Nothing is known about Walter but he was captured by the Armitage Family, along with Georgina, and got possessed by Roman. Walter, now possessed by Roman, works as a groundskeeper. He is met by Chris Washington when his girlfriend Rose takes him to her house so he can meet her family. Rose's father Dean acknowledges that it looks bad, two wealthy white people having two helpers who are black, but they were hired to take care of his parents and Dean would have felt bad letting them go. There's definitely something off about both Walter and Georgina. They have a definite stiff Stepford artificial politeness about them. They also both speak using dated vernacular.

Later on, Chris goes through the bow full of pictures with Rose and several other black guys (including Andre Hayworth and Walter) and Georgina.

Death[]

After Chris escapes the house while killing Dean, Rose's mother Missy and Rose's brother Jeremy, the rear view mirror is blown away. Rose is coming after Chris with a rifle. He begs her to stop, but she sees Georgina and refers to her as 'grandma.' Rose shoots again and misses Chris. From out of nowhere, Walter runs past Rose in pursuit of Chris, and Rose says, "Get him, Grandpa" as he tackles Chris. They wrestle on the ground, and Chris takes his picture with a flash, which awakens the sunken inside of Walter. Walter turns and asks Rose for her rifle. She gives it to him, and he shoots her in the stomach. After turning around to Chris, he turns the rifle on himself and shoots himself in the head, killing Walter and Roman Armitage.

When Rod Williams arrives in a police car and takes Chris back in his car, he leaves the dying Rose and Walter's corpse.

Killed Victims[]
