Vicky is a minor character in When Evil Lurks. She is played by Lucrecia Nirón Talazac.
Biography[]
Vicky was the young daughter of Leonardo and Sabrina. She lived with her parents and her two step-brothers, Jair and Santino.
Death[]
Sabrina's ex-husband Pedro unexpectedly arrives at the family's house, and strips naked of his clothes, which have been contaminated with Uriel's pus. He demands that Leonardo go get him and his brother new clothes to wear, not noticing when the family dog Roger licks the infected clothes, before trying to warn the family that they have to leave the town now to escape the demonic possession epidemic. However, this leads to an argument breaking out between Pedro and Sabrina over the former's bad behaviour as a father.
During the argument, Vicky plays with Roger, only for the dog to savagely attack and maul her as Santino watches in horror. By time the adults realise what has happened, Roger has dragged Vicky outside. Despite Pedro warning him not to, Leonardo grabs a shotgun and shoots Roger after finding him outside, far away from the house. When the guys return, they find that Vicky is apparently still alive and has returned to the house. However, it is strongly implied that Vicky is now possessed, meaning that the dog attack was most likely fatal.
James gave her death the Golden Chainsaw award, despite plenty of competition, because of how shocking and brutal it was. Vicky also won the "Best Kill" award at the Dead Meat Horror Awards 2024.
