Mr. Mundy's death

Mr. Mundy, a sniper for the RED team, was stationed to guard the underground sewers of the Conagher Slaughterhouse. He spots Detective Jacques Morneau and Jane Doe approaching, aiming and trying to kill them. Jane Doe, however, deliberately baits Mundy into shooting at him. Mundy’s shot hits the Soldier, but Doe was only pretending to be dead.

Suddenly, Doe springs back to his feet and fires a shot from his rocket launcher at Mundy. The blast hits Mundy in the leg, blowing it off as he tries to escape. Severely wounded and unable to flee, Mundy realizes he won't survive. In his final moments, he pulls the bullets out of the detective's gun, making it easier for his teammate, The Butcher to capture Morneau. Lying on the ground, Mundy laughs away at the detective while slowly bleeding to death.

The Hunter's second death

He eventually returns with a massive metal prosthetic, resembling a peg leg, to replace his missing leg. Determined to take revenge on Jane Doe, he begins his hunt by trying to kill him from a distance using Presumably Doe's own Rocket launcher upon encountering him in the hallways of the Slaughterhouse Jail.

Mundy encounters Doe again in the Command room right after Doe finishes listening to the conversation between Jules Archibald and Blutarch Mann discussing the respawn machine. He corners Doe and is able to land a shot on his lower leg, causing him to limp-sprint to the laboratory near by. Afterwards, Mundy picks up the same telephone on the desk and calls up on the Butcher to inform him that he has him corned in the laboratory. ''He won't get far.'' Mundy smirky states.

he manages to corner the Soldier and seems ready to finish him off. But just before delivering the final blow, something catches his eye—the decapitated head of the Butcher. Confused, he asks the Butcher's head, "What took you so long?" But before he gets an answer, the head falls lifelessly to the ground. At that moment, Dr. Fritz Ludwig sneaks up behind him and drives the Butcher's axe deep into his chest.

As he struggles, Jane Doe seizes the opportunity to end it all. Standing over him, ready to deliver the killing shot, he looks at them and, with his last breath, says, "I'll see you on the other side." Jane Doe then pulls the trigger of his shotgun, blowing him away and leaving only his jaw behind as the final remnant of his body.
