Shelby Cunningham is a minor character in Slither.
Biography[]
Shelby was a police dispatcher in the town of Wheelsy, South Carolina. She worked with deputies Margaret Hooper, Wally Whale, Tourneur, Fitzgibbon, and police chief Bill Pardy.
Death[]
Later on, Pardy calls Shelby on the radio, asking her to call the CDC for help. Shelby agrees, but gets attacked and infected before she can do so, and later dies after her "host", Grant Grant, is killed.
Trivia[]
- Shelby is played by Jenna Fischer, who also plays Pam Beesly in The Office, and whom had also been married to James Gunn at the time that this film was being made.
- Her character is named after Sean S. Cunningham, the co-creator and director of the original Friday the 13th.
