Rebecca Walters is a character in Scream 4.
Biography[]
Rebecca was Sidney Prescott's assistant and publicist, who helps arrange Sidney's visit to Woodsboro to promote her book.
Her character is mostly a strong reference to the old version of Gale Riley blended with Tatum Riley's characteristics of having heavily alliance with Sidney and feisty personality.
Sidney fires her after Rebecca attempts to capitalize on the new Ghostface murders to increase sales of Sidney's book.
Death[]
As Rebecca is going up in the hospital's elevator and into the parking garage to leave, telling herself that Sidney will come around and rehire her in the morning, she gets a phone call from Ghostface, looking for Sidney. Afraid, Rebecca gets into her car to find her car won't start and Ghostface on the hood.
Getting out of the car when she is convinced he disappeared, she runs to the door to get back into the elevator but the handle breaks off in her hand. Turning around, she is stabbed in the stomach by Ghostface. She was killed when stabbed multiple times and thrown out off a parking structure by Charlie Walker.
Her body then lands on top of a news van during a press conference in front of Dewey Riley.

She is played by actress Allison Brie, best known as Annie Edison in the show Community.
