Patty is a supporting character in My Bloody Valentine. She is the best friend of Sarah, and the girlfriend of Hollis.
Biography[]
Patty was one of the attendees of the planned Valentine’s Day party at the Hanniger Mine, which is held despite the town’s dark history of murders linked to the vengeful killer Harry Warden. She is excited for the event and is particularly thrilled to be spending Hollis and Sarah. Patty often playfully teases Sarah about her complicated romantic situation involving her ex-boyfriend T.J. and Axel, who is also vying for Sarah’s attention.
As the party turns into a massacre, the group splits up, and Patty, along with Sarah, Hollis, and a few others, finds themselves trapped in the mine. When Hollis volunteers to check on their missing friends, Patty grows increasingly anxious when he does not return quickly. Eventually, Hollis staggered out of the mine, severely wounded from a brutal attack by the killer. His face is riddled with nail gun wounds, and he collapses and dies in front of Patty and Sarah.
After Hollis’s death, Patty becomes increasingly panicked struggles to regain her composure.
Death[]
As she and Sarah attempt to escape through the tunnels, the killer, later revealed to be Axel, ambushes them. Patty is brutally murdered off-screen, revealed to have been stabbed in the gut by a pickaxe.
James gave this death the "Dull Machete" award because it was pretty simple compared to the other kills.
