Olivia Morris is a character in Scream 4.
Biography[]
Olivia, a senior at Woodsboro High School, was close friends with Jill Roberts, who lived next door, and Kirby Reed, another friend of theirs. Her character model does not seem to be blatantly based on anyone from the original movie, in contrast to other group members. Given what happened to others who were around Sidney Prescott, the franchise's survivor and heroine, Olivia is also one of the rare characters to express an outright disdain for and terror of being around her. She was noted as understanding "how to be snarky without being a bitch" in the casting description for her role.
High school girls Jenny Randall and Marnie Cooper are killed by Ghostface in 2011, during the 15th anniversary week of the original Woodsboro murders. The next day, Sidney Prescott and Rebecca Walters, her publicist, return to Woodsboro to promote Sidney Prescott's book. Sidney is forced to remain in town while the murders are investigated after evidence is discovered in her rented car.
Ghostface makes a threatening phone call to Sidney's cousin Jill Roberts, who is dealing with the infidelity of her ex-boyfriend Trevor Sheldon, as well as to her friend Olivia Morris. Dewey Riley, who is now the town's sheriff, interrogates Jill and Olivia about their calls, along with their friend Kirby Reed, with the help of his deputies Judy Hicks, Anthony Perkins, and Hoss. Gale Weathers, Dewey's wife, decides to look into the killings over her husband's objections since she is having writing trouble. Sidney spends the night with Jill, her mother, and her aunt Kate.
Death[]
Olivia's death

One evening, as Jill and Kirby watch in horror from the opposite side of the street, Olivia is slain by Ghostface. James gave her the Golden Chainsaw in the Recount because her whole death scene as a whole is brutal and gory for a Scream Movie.
