Mr. Simms is an eccentric and story-prone funeral director of the local mortuary known as Simms' Furneral Home in Los Angeles, California, and he is the prominent major character in the Tales from the Hood films directed by Rusty Cundieff, and executive produced by Spike Lee.

The mysterious man lures in three young thugs and tells them four stories before revealing to them that they were dead the entire time, and that they are in Hell for their crimes.

The handsome man meets with Dumass Beach and tells 4 more stories and later bringing him into hell.

Tales from the Hood 3[]

Although Mr. Simms himself isn’t present in the 3rd installment of the trilogy, Brooklyn is revealed to be another form of him.
