Mr. Roemer is a minor character in President's Day. He is played by Ron LaMartina.
Biography[]
Mr. Roemer was a science teacher at the school. After noticing that one of his students, Joanna Bolen, is offering to date the class jokester Barry Olsen if he votes for her, he tries to embarrass Barry in front of the whole class by making him answer a difficult question about gases. Barry, however, simply takes the opportunity to make a fart joke.
Later on, Officer Kennedy tells Barry that he has made Roemer his lead suspect for the murders, since Roemer has recently quit and also could potentially be committing the murders in an attempt to frame Kennedy, to get revenge for the time Kennedy caught him masturbating after school.
Death[]
Barry breaks into Roemer's house so that he can look for any potential evidence to incriminate Roemer. While searching the garage, however, Roemer suddenly appears and points a gun to Barry's head. He asks Barry what he is doing in his home, when all of a sudden the killer jumps out from behind Roemer, killing him by suffocating him with a plastic bag.
His death is later made out to look like he committed suicide by hanging himself, with all the dead bodies of the missing teens being placed around him in an attempt to make him seem like he was the killer after all.
