Lucas is a protagonist in Would You Rather. He is played by Enver Gjokaj, who played Pete Dolgen in the Walking Dead episode "Dead Weight".
Biography[]
Lucas was one of the eight contestants whom had signed up for Shepard Lambrick's dinner game. He is first shown talking with Cal when Iris first arrives at the mansion.
At the mansion, Bevans the butler demands that everyone hand over their phones and wallets before the game begins, and then dinner is announced. After the meal is served, one contestant, Iris, points out that she cannot have the steak and foie gras meal, since she is vegetarian. Rather than providing her a backup option, however, Shepard instead offers her $10,000 if she eats the steak, which she reluctantly does. Shepard also coaxes another cntestant, a recovering alcoholic named Conway, into drinking an entire decanter of Scotch for $50,000.
After dinner ends, Shepard reveals the game to be a version of the party game "would you rather" in which players must choose between two options. He explains that there is a 15-second time limit for each choice, and that players will be eliminated if they do not make a choice. Shepard gives everyone in the room a chance to leave, and when no-one does, the game begins.
After the game starts, however, Bevans (who happens to be a former MI5 interrogation agent) wheels in an electric shock machine, much to the concern of everyone in the room. Unnerved, Conway goes to leave, but is shot dead by Bevans, much to the horror of everyone in the room. The remaining contestants quickly learn how serious and deadly the game is, and realize they can only win the game if they are the last surviving player.
Everyone is forced to remained seated as Shepard explains the rules of the first round of the game, which involves two contestants connected to the electro shock machine, with one person deciding whether they should shock themselves or the other person. During the game, Lucas allows war veteran Travis to electrocute him, and then chooses to electrocute himself instead of Iris when it comes time for him to be the decision-maker. The round ends with no one eliminated.
After a heated argument occurs between Travis and Shepard's son Julian, the second round begins. In the second round, each contestant has 30 seconds to choose between stabbing the person next to them in the thigh with an ice pick or whipping Travis three times with a sjambok, as decided by Julian. Iris and Lucas choose to whip Travis, out of fear of killing someone from the thigh stab, and Travis chooses to be whipped by Bevans out of dignity. Ultimately, Travis is badly injured and, Peter, knowing he won't survive another lashing, stabs Linda in the leg, but he hits the femoral artery and she dies shortly after stabbing Amy. Amy is then given the choice to either whip Travis or choose any player to stab. She chooses to stab Iris, but in the side instead. Thanks to Lucas, she survives. Cal then opts to mercy-kill Travis, whipping him enough to have him incapacitated and removed from the game.
As Shepard prepares the third round of the game, Lucas causes a distraction, allowing everyone to attempt an escape. During the chaos, Cal is shot and killed by Shepard after he tries to attack him, and eventually, everyone is forced back into the game. Shepard sends Julian to his room for the remainder of the game, following his attempt to rape Iris during the chaos, and personally apologizes to Iris for his son's behavior. The third round then begins, which involves each player having 30 seconds to choose between either being submerged in a barrel full of water for two minutes, or performing an unknown task written on a card in an envelope that is placed in front of them. Peter chooses a card, which requires him to light an M-80 firecracker in his hand; when it explodes, it causes a heart attack and he dies. Lucas's card forces him to slit open his own eyeball; he does so and survives. Horrified, Iris chooses the barrel and survives (her unpicked card is revealed to have all of her teeth extracted). Amy then chooses her card and learns that she must be submerged underwater for four minutes, and she drowns.
Death[]

Lucas being shot.
With only Iris and Lucas in the final round, Iris is given the choice to either shoot and kill Lucas to win the game, or spare him, which would result in both walking away empty-handed. Despite him thinking that Iris will spare him, she does not, and Lucas is shot and dies.
