The Dead Meat Wiki

Lillian Bloom is a supporting character in The Menu.

Biography[]

Lillian was an infamous food critic who, alongside her editor Ted Feldman, had helped make the Hawthorne restaurant owned by Julian Slowik a success thanks to her giving it a positive review, which is something she rarely seemed to do. She and Ted were two of the twelve guests who decided to go to the restaurant on the day of the incident.

After the meal begins, Lillian begins making small criticisms towards the amuse bouche, which Ted agrees with. She later complains about an emulsion split in the second course (the breadless bread plate), upon which Elsa brings out a full bowl of the split emulsion to give to her. During the third course, Lillian and Ted recieves tortillas with images laser-printed on depicting the restaurants that closed due to Lillian's negative reviews, which in turn caused people's livelihoods to be ruined (as revealed later).

Death[]

Lillian and Ted, alongisde Julian, the staff and all the remaining guests (aside from Margot) are all killed when Julian sets the restaraunt on fire as a way of paying tribute to s'mores.

James gave her death (along with all the other victims of the s'mores kill) the Golden Chainsaw because it was a flashy and fitting finale.
