Joey Burns is a character in Friday The 13th: A New Beginning.
Biography[]
Joey was put up for adoption by his paramedic father Roy Burns after his mother passed away from blood loss while giving birth to him. Roy was probably unable to handle raising a kid on his own. Joey was frequently considered undesired by his foster homes and was thus transported from home to home. He was finally placed at Pinehurst Youth Development Center.
After murdering Jason Voorhees in Part 4, Tommy Jarvis was a teenager who was frequently sent to mental facilities as a result of his nightmares that plagued the serial killer. Eventually, Dr. Matt Letter and his assistant Pam Roberts transport him to the Pinehurst Halfway House. Tommy encounters a group of other teenagers there, including Tina McCarthy and Eddie Kelso, lovers; Jake Patterson, a stutterer; Violet Moraine, a goth; Robin Brown, a depressive; Joey Burns, a compulsive eater; and little Reggie Winter, whose grandfather George Winter works as the facility's cook.
Death[]

Joey's death
Due to Joey's persistent bugging, Vic Faden, another prisoner at the facility, suffers a mental breakdown and brutally murders Joey with an axe, which results in Joey's incarceration.
