Jemma Moore is a major character and an anti-hero in Host.
Biography[]
Jemma throws a rock at Haley's window to ask her to let her in the Zoom call; later, she joins through her phone and her computer; it makes a weird noise that Haley doesn't like. Later, the group begins the séance. When they start the séance, Jemma makes the mistake of joking around and pretending to contact a nonexistent "friend" named Jack who died by hanging (suicide). However, she accidentally created a demon, and the unsettling incidents escalate.
Later, Haley gets dragged off the room and Jemma goes to save her friend. Jemma throws a rock through Haley's window, but then Jack throws a glass bottle to her head and falls over. Jack also makes the kitchen explode, which makes Jemma run away.

When she enters Haley's house, Jemma finds Haley and takes pictures with her Polaroid camera. They show Haley and Jemma's murder at Jack's hands; after this, the Zoom call timer expires.
