Henry Kessler is a minor antagonist in Saw X. He is played by Michael Beach.
Biography[]
Henry Kessler was an associate of Cecilia Pederson, working alongside Mateo, Gabriela, Valentina, Parker and Diego for The Pederson Project, an elaborate scamming operation which would decieve terminally ill individuals into thinking that their diseases could be cured via special treatment in exchange for large amounts of money. Henry's job was to attend cancer support meetings in order to meet new targets for the group, and the Pederson Project would successfully scam over 30 patients.
During one of these meetings, Henry would meet John Kramer, whom, unbeknownst to him, was the Jigsaw killer. Henry would tell John and the rest of the group his fake story about having stage 4 pancreatic cancer, thus earning John's sympathy. Some time after the meeting, Henry approached John Kramer and tell him that the Pederson Project "cured" him of his cancer, showing a fake scar on his stomach as "proof".
Death(?)[]
After John learns that the operation was a scam and deals with the rest of the group, he and Mark Hoffman, having learned that Henry was in on the scam, find his location and abduct him, taking him to a derelict bathroom and chaining his hands to the ceiling. Henry awakens with a bladed contraption strapped to his torso, when John and Hoffman confront him for lying over his scar. Henry begs John to not kill him, but John tells him not to worry, and that he wants to play a game. The trap is then activated, and slicing sounds can be heard as Henry screams in agony, but the movie ends before John can explain the rules, leaving Henry's fate unknown.
