Halloween Ends (2022) KILL COUNT is the four hundred and fifty-eighth video of The Kill Count.
Overview[]
A year after the previous two movies, part-time babysitter Corey Cunningham gets asked to watch over Jeremy Allen. At first things seem to be going well, until Jeremy gives Corey an attitude while the two are watching The Thing. Looking for something to eat, Corey goes to the kitchen to see what there is. That’s when Jeremy plays a prank on him by locking him in the attic. Corey breaks the door open, knocking Jeremy multiple stories down. Mr. & Mrs. Allen arrive home just as Jeremy lands face first on the floor, killing him instantly. Corey is then shortly arrested, however he is cleared from the judge.
Three years later, Laurie Strode moved on from her daughter's death and purchased a home where she and her granddaughter, Allyson, feel safe at. On her way to work, Allyson gets pulled over by an officer she used to date, Officer Mulaney. After getting off of work, Corey Cunningham gets into an argument with some high schoolers. Corey's hand gets cut in the process and is shortly taken to the hospital by Laurie Strode. Corey gets treated by Allyson and the two hit on each other. The two end up going to a halloween party where after having a good time, Corey gets confronted by Mrs. Allen, reminding him that he's responsible for her son's death. Corey leaves the party and heads back home. The group of high schoolers-Terry, Stacy, Billy, and Margo pull up beside Corey and throw him off a bridge.
The next day, Corey wakes up inside a sewer and encounters Michael Myers. Michael chokes Corey for a bit until Michael leaves him alone before Corey leaves the sewer. A homeless man, Nelson grabs Corey and tells him he's Michael Myers. Nelson pulls out a switchblade and attempts to stab Corey, however Corey gets a hold of the knife and stabs Nelson before fleeing the scene. Corey and Allyson go out to eat that night, where Doug harrasses the two. Once Corey drops off Allyson, Doug follows Corey to the sewers. Doug discovers Nelson's corpse as Corey taunts him. Doug goes inside the sewer, where Corey and Michael team up and murder Doug.
Celebrating her promotion, Nurse Deb gets invited to Dr. Mathis' mansion. While Deb is getting ready to shower, Corey shows up and murders Dr. Mathis before Michael appears behind Deb and murders her as well. Corey picks up Allyson and the two head to WURG, a radio station. As the two plan to leave, Sean Schrider (owner of WURG) catches the two and threatens and harasses the two. This happens to be the last straw for Allyson as she tells Corey she wants to run away with him.
Before leaving Haddonfield, Corey goes back to the sewers and takes Michael's mask. That night, Corey loses it and commits multiple murders, killing his mother, the high schoolers, and Sean. Meanwhile Allyson and Laurie get into a dispute over Allyson's and Corey's relationship, causing Allyson to storm off and leave Laurie. Shortly after, Corey shows up with plans of killing Laurie, however when he gets there he is shot by Laurie. Allyson comes back home after Corey doesn't show up to a restaurant. Corey hears her car and stabs himself, trying to frame Laurie. As Allyson opens the door, she sees Corey bleeding on the floor while Laurie holds a knife. Allyson yells at Laurie before leaving the house.
A sympathetic Laurie leans against a wall, not knowing that Michael has entered from the side door. Michael grabs his mask back from Corey and kills him by snapping his neck. While driving around Haddonfield, Allyson realizes the harm Corey has done and rushes back home when Frank Hawkins calls her and tells her about Laurie calling for suicide. Laurie and Michael have their first confrontation in over four years. During which Laurie and Michael get stabbed plenty of times. Laurie comes out victorious and leads the town of Haddonfield to Ronald's junkyard, where they dispose of the body of Michael by tossing it inside an industrial shredder. The following day, Allyson leaves Haddonfield while Laurie finishes writing her memoir. Hawkins shows up and gives Laurie a gift. The two sit down and rediscover their relationship for each other.
