Hal Wainwright is a supporting character in Happy Birthday to Me.
Biography[]
Hal Wainwright was a resident of Exeter, Massachusetts. He was the husband of Estelle Wainwright and the father of Ginny Wainwright. He was unaware that Estelle had a secret affair with Mr. Thomerson, the husband of Mrs. Thomerson, and that they had a child, Ann Thomerson.
A few days before Ginny's birthday, Hal received a call telling him he had to leave for a few days for business. When he told Ginny this, he told her that he would be back in time for her birthday.
At the night of Ginny's birthday, he showed up carrying multiple presents for her. As he entered the house, he saw a pool of blood in the foyer. He ran out of the house and met one of Ginny's friends and a member of the Top 10, Amelia, just standing in the rain, clutching a gift. In the cemetery, he realised that Estelle's grave was robbed and instead inside was Dr. Faraday's corpse.
After returning to the estate, he noticed that the lights were on. When he entered, he found the bodies of the deceased members of the Top 10 seated at the table. He believed that he saw Ginny entering the room carrying a cake singing happy birthday to herself.
Death[]

Hal's throat getting slashed
As Hal failed to notice that his real daughter was seated at the table along with the bodies, the masked assailant slashed his throat, and revealed herself to be Ann.
