Frankenstein’s Monster is the main antagonist in Frankenstein (1931) and the only re-occurring character in the series. In the first 3 movies, he is famously played by Boris Karloff and played by various other actors in the latter films.
Biography[]
Henry Frankenstein gathers body parts to create the Monster and uses lightning to bring the Monster to life. Unfortunately, the Monster goes berserk thanks to Frankenstein's assistant Fritz and escapes, accidentally drowning a girl he befriends. He then attacks Frankenstein's wife and drags Frankenstein himself to a windmill. He tosses his creator onto one of the vanes, but the doctor survives and the mob of villagers set the windmill aflame, where the Monster seemingly dies in the fire.
