Edward "Eddie" McCarlo is a minor character in Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood.
Biography[]
A science fiction writer with a vivid imagination, Eddie joins his friends at the cabin to celebrate Michael's birthday. While at the party, he harbors a huge crush on Melissa Paur, who everyone tells him to not pursue since he's out of her league. Despite what his friends say, he remains optimistic.
Throughout the weekend, Melissa does eventually start showing an interest in him and even gets him in bed with her, but before they could proceed any further, she cruelly reveals to him that he was just using him to make Nick Rogers jealous and that she never liked him. Eddie goes downstairs and starts opening Michael's presents.
Death[]
While he's unwrapping gifts, he hears someone behind him, thinking that it was Melissa wanting to make up, turns around only to see Jason Voorhees who quickly kills him by slashing him with his machete. Eddie's body would later be found by Nick. His corpse is later decapitated and his head is found by Tina Shepard.
