Dylan is the secondary antagonist of the V/H/S/99 segment "The Gawkers".
Biography[]
Dylan was friends with Kurt, Mark and Boner and was the older brother of Brady. He is first introduced when he bursts into Brady's room and asks "What the fuck are you doing, loser?" upon seeing that he is making stop motion videos with toy soldiers. Upon realising that Brady has been using his camera, he snatches it away from him before using it to record himself flexing in his bedroom mirror. He is interrupted when his mom knocks on the door and asks what he is doing, to which he lies and claims that he is studying. His mom then asks what he wants for lunch, to which he says he wants hot pockets.
After filming Kurt as he pranks a deliveryman, Dylan films Mark and Kurt pranking a sleeping Boner by drawing a penis on his forehead before attempting to perform the "whipped cream in hand" prank on him, only Boner gets the cream on his crotch instead of his face. Later, the boys discover a huge patch of snakeskin laying in a field and tease Boner by daring him to eat it for 50 cents. Boner responds by saying "'ll eat your fucking mom for 50 cents, bro!". The boys then go to a skate park, where Boner breaks his arm after a nasty fall. Boner quickly gets his arm put in a cast, however, after which the boys begin talking about Y2K. Boner believes that Y2K is a real threat that will lead to the end of the world, but the rest of his friends tease him and say that him having sex is less likely than the world ending. Later on, the boys attempt to hide the camera in a bag with a hole in it in and approach two girls before attempting to film secret upskirt videos of them; however, the girls notice the hidden camera, and the boys run away.
Dylan and his friends become fixated on Dylan's young and attractive new neighbour Sandra, spying on her while she relaxes in her swimming pool, and later while she washes her car. Brady comes in and asks what Dylan and his friends are doing, only for them to heckle him before Dylan forces him out of his room. The boys then watch as Sandra recieves a brand-new iMac G3 computer from the delivery man, whom unsuccessfully attempts to flirt with her. At night, the boys go back to spying on Sandra, and notice that her yard is decorated with stone busts, they get excited when she prepares to take a shower, but she closes the curtains before they can see her get naked.
The next day, the boys watch from Dylan's bedroom window as Brady goes rollerskating outside. He approaches Sandra as she takes out the trash, and the two quickly become friends, much to the shock of Dylan and his friends, who watch as Sandra lets Brady into her house. After Brady returns home, Dylan's friends congratulate him and pressure him with questions about Sandra, asking is she is single and what she smells like. Brady is unwilling to answer, but reveals that Sandra wants him to come back tomorrow and set up a webcam on her computer. This gives Dylan the idea to have Brady install a spyware program on her computer and hack into it using Dylan's computer so that he and his friends can potentially see her naked. Brady is unwilling to do so, but is ultimately convinced when Dylan promises that he will let him hang out with his friends if he does it. The boys record him as he successfully goes through with the act, and Dylan gives Brady a beer as a reward.
Eventually, Sandra begins taking off her clothes, and Dylan's friends gather to watch on the computer as she reveals her breasts. However, Brady begins to feel guilty for betraying Sandra's trust and leaves the room. Mere seconds later, however, Sandra reveals herself to be a gorgon when she tears off a fake scalp, exposing several snakes underneath. Sandra then appears to realise what the boys are doing and leaps onto the roof of the house before breaking into Dylan's bedroom.

After killing Mark, Kurt and Boner in quick succession, Dylan tries to flee outside with Brady, but Sandra confronts Brady on the stairs. Brady tries to apologise for what he did, but Sandra does not accept the apology and uses her powers to turn him to stone. Sandra then turns her attention to Dylan and turns him to stone as well.
