Duc de L'Isle is a minor antagonist in Hellraiser: Bloodline. He is portrayed by Mickey Cottrell.
Biography[]
Duc had commissioned toymaker Phillip Lemarchand to create the Lament Configuration for him, not telling Lemarchand that his specifications for the box would make it a portal to Hell. After Phillip gives him the box and leaves, Duc and his assistant Jacques murder a peasant girl and skin her. Duc then begins a ritual and summons Angelique, a demon, through the box. Unbeknownst to Duc, however, LeMarchand witnesses the event through a window, and flees home in terror.
Death[]
Some time later, LeMarchand goes back to Duc's mansion, intending to steal back the Lament Configuration so he can use it to create a second box that will neutralize the effects of the first. While at the mansion, Phillip discovers Duc injured (presumably attacked by either Jacques or Angelique). While Duc is still somewhat alive when Phillip finds him, he dies quickly thereafter.
