Dr. Ted Fisher is a character in Day of the Dead.
Biography[]
Dr. Ted Fisher was a scientist and was one of three doctors operating from within an underground military establishment. He was shown to be good friends with Sarah Bowman, and was shown to dislike Captain Rhodes, defending Sarah when Rhodes threatened her.
He attempts to convince Rhodes to give them better working conditions, but Rhodes is uninterested in the experiments, and thus refuses, even after seeing Dr. Matthew Logan's work on an intelligent zombie named Bub.

When Rhodes had found out that Dr. Logan was feeding Bub human remains of Private Miller and Private Johnson, Rhodes completely went berserk, taking Fisher, Sarah, Bill and John hostage, and when John refuses to fly Rhodes and his men out of the compound, he shoots Fisher in the head as an example.

- Fisher is played by John Amplas, who was the titular character in Romero's Martin, Martinez in Dawn of the Dead and the zombie Nathan Grantham in Creepshow.
