Dr. Tanner Mathis is a minor character in Halloween Ends.
Biography[]
Dr. Mathis was a sleazy doctor at a doctor's office in Haddonfield that Allyson Strode worked at. He had been in a secret relationship with one of his nurses, Deb Jennings. In Halloween Kills, he is mentioned in a conversation between one of his former nurses, Marcus, and Marcus's wife Vanessa, where Marcus says that he wants to punch Mathis for being vulgar and acting innapropriately.
In Halloween Ends, he is first shown tending to Corey Cunningham's wounds after he gets a glass shard in his hand. Later on, Mathis decides to give Deb a promotion that he had originally promised to give to Allyson, much to the latter's frustration.
Death[]
On the night before Halloween, Mathis invites Deb over for dinner and sex. He tells Deb to take a shower first, and she complies. Whilst in the bathroom, she hears a thud followed by the sounds of a struggle. She follows them to find Corey suffocating Mathis with a plastic bag while stabbing the doctor multiple times in the neck with a corkscrew.
