Dr. Lang is a minor character in Leatherface (2017). He is played by Christopher Adamson.
Biography[]
Lang was the director of the Gorman House Youth Reformatory facility. He is shown talking to new nurse Lizzy White in one scene, in which he refuses her suggestion of allowing family members of the patients to visit. Lang later shows up late to a meeting with Barry Farnsworth, the lawyer for Verna Carson-Sawyer, who is the mother/aunt of Jedidiah Sawyer, aka Leatherface.
Verna asks to see her son/nephew, but Lang refuses, because all the kids in the facility have been renamed (to protect them from their dangeroud families), and it would be too difficult to find the records to see which kid is him. Verna is understandably upset, and thus, after excusing herself to the restroom, she violates secrity and breaks into the room full of sleeping patients, calling for Jed. Despite her being kicked out shortly after, this ultimately ends up causing an escape riot.
Death[]
During the chaos, Bud breaks out from an electro-shock therapy session, and begins killing various staff members. Bud then goes Lang's office, where Lang slaps him, enraging him and causing him to murder Lang by bashing his head repeatedly against a window.
