Dr. Jack Griffin is the main anti-hero in The Invisible Man
Biography[]
Dr. Griffin is a scientist who managed to turn himself invisible, but one of the chemicals involved in the experiment gradually drives him mad.
After first making a small attack on a small town, Griffin drags his fellow scientist, Kemp, with him to gather his research books, during which he kills a detective in the inn. Later, Kemp betrays Griffin, who vows to kill him the following night.
After more attacks and murders, Griffin finally kills Kemp when he tries to escape. However, he falls asleep in a barn, and discovered by the owner, who tells the police. They then light the barn on fire and Griffin tries to escape in the snow storm, but his footprints give him away and he is shot by the chief officer.
Death[]
Griffin is taken to a hospital, but his gunshot wounds are too fatal for him to survive. After an apology and final goodbye to his fiancée, Flora, Griffin finally dies, his body becoming visible afterwards.
