Dr. Gunther Wachenstein is the main antagonist in Tammy and the T-Rex.
Biography[]
Wachenstein was a mad scientist who was planning to give an animatronic dinosaur "immortality" by giving it a human brain. He worked with his partner-in-crime Helga, computer wizz Bobby, and strong-boy Karl.
After Michael's lion attack, Gunther and Helga go to visit him at the hospital, where his girlfriend Tammy and their friend Byron are already waiting. After staging a flatline, they take Michael's body to the warehouse that night, and, after extracting Michael's brain, Wachenstein wires it up to the dinosaur. He then leaves for the night with Helga, planning to lobotomies the brain the next morning, and tells Bobby and Karl to stay behind and clean the laboratory. Whilst in the other room, however, the Michael-dinosaur springs to life, and, after discovering that his body has been used against him, kills Bobby and Karl in a fit of rage, then proceeds to wreak havoc on the whole town.
Wachenstein and Helga return the next morning to find the remains of their lab and their employees, which comes as great success to Wachenstein in him having given the dinosaur life. After Michael's funeral, Tammy opens up Michael's coffin to try and get his human body back, but find it to have decomposed majorly. The two doctors show up, and try to have dino-Mike taken away, but are subdued and tied up by Tammy and co.. There, Tammy drives to the local morgue in order to give Michael a fresh body. However, they take too long in getting Michael to decide, and Wachenstein and Helga escape and get two local police officers to begin perusing the titular characters and Byron.
Death[]

Wachenstein's death.
Eventually, the chase ends with all the characters winding up at a barn. There, Wachenstein convinces the cops that the dinosau is simply a robot, and go to "switch it off". However, dino-Mike attacks, and disembowels Wachenstein with a big dino-bite.
