Denise Willis is the main protagonist of House of 1000 Corpses. She is played by Erin Daniels.
Biography[]
Denise had been going on a road trip with her boyfriend Jerry Goldsmith, and their friends Bill Hudley and Mary Knowles. During the trip, the group stops in need of fuel, and visit Captain Spauling's gas station. Intrigued by the interior design, the group asks Spaulding if they can use his place as research for a book on offbeat roadside attractions that they are working on. Spaulding allows them to do so, and even takes the four friends on a horror attraction that he has as part of the gas station, which is called "The Museum of Monsters & Madmen" and features animatronics of various real-life serial killers, including a local legend named Dr. Satan.
After exiting the ghost train, Denise gives her dad Don a call at a nearby phone booth. She tells him of her and her friend's location, and says that they are running late to his house because of their pitstop at the gas station. Meanwhile, Jerry has Spaulding draw out a map locating the tree where Dr. Satan was reportedly hung before his body mysteriously dissapeared. The group drives towards the location, and whilst on their way there, they pick up a hitchhiker named Baby, who claims to live only a few miles away. Shortly after, the vehicle's tire bursts (in what is later seen to be a trap) and Baby takes Bill to her family's house. Moments later, Baby's half-brother, Rufus, picks up the stranded passengers and takes them to the family home.
At the house, the four meet Baby's family: her adopted brother Otis B. Driftwood, her deformed giant half-brother Tiny, Mother Firefly, and Grampa Hugo. While being treated to dinner, Mother Firefly explains that her ex-husband, Earl, had previously tried to burn Tiny alive, along with the Firefly house, after he suffered a psychotic breakdown. After dinner, the family puts on a Halloween show for their guests, during Baby offends Mary by flirting with and seducing Bill.
After waking up from a nightmare about Dr. Satan, Denise finds herself tied to a bed whilst dressed in a pin-up girl outfit, where Tiny provides her breakfast in the form of Agatha Crispies. Otis then appears and throws Denise into a cage full of blankets and bedsheets, where the bedsheet gremlin-people attack her or smth idk
The following night, after Bill is killed, the three remaining teenagers are dressed as rabbits and taken out to an abandoned well. After Mary is killed after a failed attempt to make an escape, Jerry and Denise are placed into an open casket and are lowered underground. There, a group of Dr. Satan's failed experiments attack Jerry and pull him away, leaving Denise to find her way through an underground lair. As she wanders through the tunnels, she encounters Dr. Satan and a number of mental patients; Jerry is on Dr. Satan's operating table being vivisected and dies as Denise screams. Dr. Satan tells his mutated assistant, who turns out to be Mother Firefly's ex-husband Earl, to capture Denise, but Denise outwits him and escapes the chambers by crawling to the surface as he is crushed by falling debris.

Denise makes her way to the main road, where she encounters Captain Spaulding, whom gives her a ride in his car. She passes out from exhaustion in the front seat, and Otis suddenly appears in the back seat with a knife. Denise later wakes up to find herself strapped to Dr. Satan's operating table, and she screams in horror, where she is presumably killed.
