Daniel Mullins is a supporting character in Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings.
Biography[]
Daniel was the boyfriend of Lauren, and was also a student at Weston University in West Virginia. He was also shown to be the "actually smart guy who the others ignore and make fun of" character of the group throughout the film.
Daniel, Lauren, and their friends Kenia, Sara, Bridget, Kyle, Claire, Vincent and Jenna had planned to go on a winter cabin trip at their friend Porter's cabin. Daniel and Lauren both meet up with the others a little later than intended, and the teens go on their way. After they all get lost in a snowstorm, however, they end up taking shelter in the abandoned Glenville Sanatorium.
In the sanatorium, the teens get a fire started in the fireplace, and the teens get the idea to explore the location until the storm is over. Daniel speaks out against the idea of trespassing, but the other teens just make fun of him and go to explore anyway. After stumbling upon the desolate office of Dr. Ryan, Daniel finds some old files on the Hillicker Brothers, and takes them with him so he can read them later.
Whilst goofing around in wheelchairs, the teens discover an old film reel in the auditorium. They play it, and the video shows a young Hillicker brother being treated with electroshock therapy. Lauren is reminded of her brother's stories about the sanatorium and the cannibalistic Hillickers, but her friends don't believe her.
After the group goes to bed, Vincent continues to explore the asylum, where he finds Porter's corpse before being killed by Saw Tooth by a needle being shoved up his nostril. The next morning, Jenna wakes up to find Vincent missing, and she and her friends split up to go to look for him. Whilst Jenna is by herself in the kitchen, she witnesses Saw-Tooth dismembering Porter's body, and runs off to warn her friends. After Porter's severed head is thrown at the group, Claire is hung from a balcony with barbed wire by the trio and decapitated.
The group attempts to flee the building but find their snowmobiles have been sabotaged. Lauren offers to ski down the mountain to seek help while the others barricade themselves in a doctor's office.

The teens remember an equipment shed in the basement they had found earlier, and so Kyle, Daniel, and Sara offer to go get weapons from it. Whilst they are running back, however, Daniel is abducted, and Kyle and Sara don't realize he's gone until they get back. They hear him screaming from somewhere in the building, but they stupidly don't try and help him until a minute or so has already passed. When they finally do go and try to help him, Kyle sees that the cannibals are slowly slicing off parts of his skin and eating him like fondue.
Kyle pussies out and tells the others what he saw, and eventually, Daniel dies when Three Finger remove one of his organs.
