Dan Jordan is a character from the Nightmare on Elm Street series who appears as a supporting character in Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.

The Dream Master[]
Dan is the best friend of Rick Johnson who his sister, Alice has a crush on. Though his role starts out minor, it gradually increases throughout the film as he grows closer to Alice and the group following Freddy killing their friends off. Dan is later injured when Alice crashes into a tree while trying to run down Freddy, who was never there and is pulled out of the dream by his surgeons when he begins to bleed in the real world after falling through a glass window into a cathedral. At the end of the film, Dan and Alice are now a couple.
The Dream Child[]
Dan graduates high school with Alice and unbeknowst to him, she is pregnant with their son Jacob. Dan falls asleep behind the wheel while trying to help Alice and through a series of events, Freddy ends up gruesomely fusing him to his motorcycle while all his flesh is removed, turning him into a demonic, skull-faced rider. In the real world, Dan crashes into another vehicle and is killed. Alice gives Jacob the middle name Daniel in honour of his father.
