Damon Brooks is a minor protagonist in Urban Legend.
Biography[]
Damon was a student at Pendleton University, and was friends with Natalie, Brenda, Paul. Parker, and Sasha. He was also the 'goofy prankster' of the group, and agreed to try the "pop rocks and soda" urban legend on himself whilst in Professor Wexler's class, during which he also goofed off and spooked the class by acting like he was gonna have his guts explode upon doing so.
Death[]
After news of the murder of fellow student Michelle Mancini spreads through the campus, Damon attempts to console the notably-disturbed Natalie while in his parked car at a bluff. In reality, though, he tries to use the opportunity to have sex with her, and gets pissed when she rejects his advances, even by punching him in the face before "One black eye or two, Damon? You decide". After going outside to take a piss, Damon is attacked by an assailant in a hooded parka, who ties a noose around his neck which is then roped around a tree with the other end tied to the back end of his car. Whilst he is dangling just above the car, Damon barely and breathlessly speaks "Natalie...don't start the car", Natalie is spooked by the killer slamming their head on the windshield and speeds off in the car, which in turn causes Damon to be hanged and strangled to death in the process. After Natalie drives the car in reverse, Damon's body falls down and crashes through the windshield.
