Chris Hargensen is the secondary antagonist of the 2013 Carrie remake.

Biography

Chris was a student at Ewen High School. She was best friends with Tina Blake. She also was enemies with Carrie White. She and her classmates bullied Carrie in the shower room and filmed it. Later that day, she uploaded the video on to YouTube.

The next day, she and her classmates got a physical detention, but Chris refused and ended getting suspended from prom. When she heard Carrie was going to prom with Tommy Ross, she planned to prank her at prom. She, her boyfriend, Billy, and Billy’s friend, Jackie Talbot, went to a pig farm and got some pig’s blood for their prank on Carrie.

After she pulled her prank, she and Billy watched as Carrie used her telekinetic powers to kill people at prom, then they decided to leave town. She also witnessed Billy get killed when he tried to run over Carrie.

When Chris tried to run over Carrie, Carrie used her telekinetic powers and threw Chris into a gas station, which caused her face to smash through the windshield of Billy’s car and apparently died from it, but Carrie made sure she was dead by incinerating her.

James gave this death the "Golden Chainsaw Award" he thought the effects were a pretty good combination of CG and pratcical.
