Charlie The Brakeman is a supporting character in Terror Train.
Biography[]
Charlie worked as the brake master for trains. He is first seen being met by Train Conductor Carne, who tries to card gang on him in which in return, Charlie doesn't understand the joke.
Later Carne then tells engineer Walter and Charlie he found Jackson's dead body, saying "there's a boy dead back there". After looking at a map of the area, they agree that the closest way out is straight ahead as the train is moving though rural and unpopulated wooded areas. Charlie arrives at the locked door to the lavatory and tells some girls passing by that it is out of order. Carne opens the door for him and the blood is gone and 'Jackson', wearing his alligator costume, is down on the floor moving. Carne thinks it was a practical joke and Mitchy, a prankster student and a passenger on the train, walks by and leads 'Jackson' away.
When Carne discovers a bloodied rag used by the killer to clean the mess up, he runs up to the engine room only to find Walter and the other engineer, Shovels, both gone (only finding a bloody engineer's cap). Carne and Charlie pull the emergency breaks and, after a tense minute, stops the train.
After a minor evacuation of the train, Charlie and Carne restart the train and as it gets underway again.
Death[]
Sometime after the train restarted, Charlie was attacked by the real killer, Kenny Hampson, and killed by him. He then took Charlie's clothes and disguised himself so he could face his ex-girlfriend Alana Maxwell.
