Dr. Charles Freezze ("pronounced "Fer-et-see") is a supporting character in Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell. He is played by Francesco Nassimbeni.
Biography[]
Freezze was a foreign scientist working at an Arctic Research Station facility in Canada's Nunavut Territory. Judging from his accent, he appears to be from somewhere in Europe.
One day, Freezze's co-workers Rita Simms and Valerie McKee had called Burt Gummer and Travis Welker to investigate the deaths of three of their researchers, whom had been attacked by Graboids. Freezze gets worried, since he was supposed to be flown out today, but can't because the research team's plane was badly damaged by an Ass Blaster when it flew into the propeller.
While Freezze is wandering around outside, an Ass Blaster appears on the campus and attacks a federal officer he was talking to. Freezze runs away in horror, hiding underneath a communications tower, but having lost his glasses, he is unable to see the Ass Blaster hunting him down. Luckily, Burt arrives and saves Freezze from the creature.
Death[]
Eventually, the stress of the situation becomes too much for Freezze to handle, and he goes to drive off in the truck belonging to the federal officer from earlier. Another of his co-workers, named Hart Hansen, tries to stop him, but Freezze responds by locking the car doors, whilst teasing Hart. Hart flees, as a Graboid charges at the truck at full speed, sending it tumbling through the air. As Hart climbs up a nearby radio tower, an injured Freezze tries to crawl away, but fails and is attacked and eaten.
