Carter McMullen is the main antagonist in Hostel: Part III.
Biography[]
Carter was an Elite Hunting Club Member that would watch people get tortured for gambling and entertainment. For Scott's bachelor celebration, Scott separates from his fiancée Amy and travels to Las Vegas with his friend Carter McMullen. They run across their other buddies Mike Malloy and Justin there. The four proceed to a bar where they see Kendra and Nikki, two prostitutes that Carter covertly paid for Scott's sex. The four men take a cab to an abandoned building after Kendra and Nikki tell them of a "freaky" party on the other side of town. Kendra approaches Scott at the party, but he rejects her and explains that he once cheated on Amy and nearly lost her, and he does not want it to happen again. The following morning, Scott awakens in his hotel room beside Carter and Justin. Mike isn't picking up his phone, so the three are unsure of his whereabouts.
Mike awakens in a prison cell and begins to fear. In an empty room with a glass wall, two guards rope Mike to a chair where he is displayed for affluent clients to wager on. Mike begs the customer, a middle-aged guy dressed as a doctor, but he just chops and rips Mike's face off. Scott, Carter, and Justin visit Nikki's trailer out of concern for Mike but are unable to locate her. When Kendra arrives, she says that Nikki is also disappeared. In the meantime, Nikki is placed in Mike's presence and fastened to a table. When a second Hungarian-speaking man enters the room, he throws cockroaches upon Nikki, some of which burrow into her mouth and cause her to suffocate.
Travis texts Scott, Carter, Justin, and Kendra from Mike's phone asking them to meet him and Nikki in a hotel room. Scott receives the text. When they arrive, Travis abducts everyone and they all wake up in separate prisons, including Victor. Carter contacts the guard and tells them that he is also a client before the two guards carry Justin away. The guards release him once he displays his Elite Hunting Club tattoo.
Carter, Flemming, and Travis watch as a masked lady shoots Justin with many crossbow bolts as he is restrained in a chair. As the main event begins, Scott is seated and restrained. Carter responds that he wants Amy for himself because they were dating before she married Scott when the man questions why he is doing this. After telling Amy of Scott's adultery, Carter claims he was unhappy that Amy continued her relationship with him. He asserts that he will console Amy once Scott passes away, and she will long to be with him.
Scott and Carter struggle when Flemming gives the order to release Scott from the chair. Scott ultimately stabs Carter, removes Carter's tattoo, and then makes his getaway by scanning Carter's tattoo. Victor frees himself by killing one of the guards, but a second guard then murders him. Kendra is shot dead by Travis after Scott contacts the police and sets her free. Flemming gives the order to execute every prisoner. Travis is killed by Scott after they quarrel. Carter murders Flemming and steals his car after he attempts to flee after detonating the building. Before Scott can approach Carter, he notices Scott and closes the front gate. Scott is still within the gates as he swiftly drives away as the building catches fire.

Later on, Carter is consoling Amy at her home. Amy tells Carter that Scott is still alive and uses a corkscrew to fasten his hand to a chair before inviting him to stay the night. In her garage, a burnt Scott shows up, and the two chain a man to a chair before Scott murders him with a small gas-powered tiller.
