Carter's Death
Carter Daniels is a minor antagonist in The Final Destination. He was one of the survivors of the McKinley Speedway disaster, and the second survivor to be killed.
Biography[]
Carter is of Irish descent, and was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but currently living in McKinley, Pennsylvania. He is a tow-truck driver visiting the McKinley Speedway with his wife Cynthia Daniels (who was one of the fatalities of the disaster) until Nick has premonition of disaster. When Nick panics and leaves the stadium he accidentally bumps into Carter, who follows him out of the stadium, but tells Cynthia to stay behind. At the racetrack, Carter is seen to have a tattoo, what depicts a swastika, further proves his racial intolerance.
Carter showed racist behaviour towards George Lanter and even blamed George for the death of his wife, because George prevented him from re-entering the collapsing speedway stands to save Cynthia. He makes thinly veiled threats at George before leaving the memorial.
Death[]
Carter's was attempting to drunkenly light a cross on fire in George's front lawn on the night he died when he became caught on his tow truck hook and dragged down the street on fire.
The chain strikes the ground and creates a spark which ignites the gas and creates a fire.
George rushes outside after hearing cries for help and finds Carter being dragged down the street on fire. The trail of fire finally reaches the gas tank of the truck and causes it to explode, blowing Carter to pieces, and his severed head lands on George's lawn.
