Captain Angie Garza is a main character in Spiral: From The Book Of Saw. She is played by Marisol Nichols.
Biography[]
Garza was a beautiful captain working at the Metropolitan Police Department. She took great pride in her sexy appearance. Following Detective Boswick's death, Garza assigned Ezekiel "Zeke" Banks to investigate the murder alongside rookie William Schenk. Following Detective Fitch's death, Banks receives a gift box with a USB inside, which containing a video showing a spiral spray-painted onto the side of a police car. Zeke, Garza and the other cops recognize the location and head there, where they find another gift box containing Fitch's fingers and police badge. They then discover Fitch's dead body, and decide to continue following their lead suspect, drug dealer Benny Reitz. Later on, Garza receives a text message addressed from Zeke's father, Marcus Banks (who had been missing a few days prior), telling her to check out something in the evidence locker. When she gets there, the door slams behind her, and she gets gassed, knocking her unconscious.
Death[]
Garza wakes up to find herself in a trap, where she is strapped to a table with paper towels covering her face and a pipe over her head connected to a tank. She finds a tape recorder and plays it, where she hears the voice of the Jigsaw Copycat on it. The voice criticizes Garza for letting her fellow police officers get away with corrupt activities, and is told that the tank attached to the pipe is filled with hot wax, which will begin to suffocate her once the game begins. She is then told that the only way she can escape the trap is by severing her spinal cord with a blade located underneath her back. Despite Garza's attempts to save her gorgeous face, she fails the trap game and is suffocated. When Zeke finds her body he attempts to peel the wax off, though it takes off some of her skin with it.
