Bill Pardy is the deuteragonist of Slither.
Biography[]
While Bill Pardy and Wally Whale are inside of their patrol car, a space rock passes by, quietly crashing down in the woods behind them. The creature would later infect citizen, Grant Grant.
At the Deer Cheer, Bill and Wally are there. Bill sees Starla Grant who he's had a crush on for a long time. He talks to her outside and leaves.
When Brenda goes missing days later, Bill and Wally go to Starla’s house and ask her if she has seen Grant with Brenda lately, to which Starla responds with “no". Inside of a barn, Grant is feeding the captive Brenda some MEAT. Starla goes to the basement were there are numerous dead animals in various states of decay, along with the corpse of the dog Roscoe, which had gone missing earlier in the week. Starla calls the police as Grant sees her. Grant attacks Starla and is about to choke her to death, but Bill, Wally, Hooper, and Carpenter, get there in time to save Starla.
3 Days later, Bill and the rest make a plan to find Grant. They go to a barn they had deducted would be the next target and wait for Grant. Bill asks Starla out but before she can say anything Grant shows himself by killing a cow. Starla talks to Grant but a man named Charlie threatens Grant. Grant kills Charlie and run away. Bill, Starla, Deputy Wally, Deputy Carpenter, Deputy Hopper, Deputy Tourneur, Jack MacReady, and Dwight follow Grant into the previous barn where Brenda is held captive, extremely large and filled with larvae. Bill speaks with Brenda to ask if she is well, and soon her womb explodes, splitting her body into small chunks of flesh. The Slugs that were inside of Brenda go all over the place and infect: Wally, Carpenter, Tourneur, and Dwight. Grant talks to Starla by using the infected. Starla shoots Wally in the head and is about to kill more infected but she is out of bulliets so Bill, Starla, and Jack run away.
Bill finds Kylie Strutemyer stuck in a car and surrounded by her infected family. Bill distracts them and that gives Kylie the opportunity to get out of the car. Bill gets attacked by Fitzgibbon but Bill stabs him in the foot and gets in his car. Bill and Kylie run over Carpenter and pick up Starla and Jack. Bill radios to Shelby and tells her to send back up. But before she can, Shelby gets infected by the Slugs. The infected Shelby radios back to Bill and sends a car speed towards them which knocks Bill, Starla, Kylie, and Jack out. When Bill wakes up, him and Kylie runs to the station. Bill gets a grenade but an infected deer attacks him. Kylie is able to kill the deer and go back to Starla's house and kill a few wormbies on the way.
At Starla's house an infected Jack beggs Bill to kill him and he does. Bill finds Grant and is about to throw the grenade at Grant but Grant whippes it out of his hand. Bill and Kylie look for the grenade, Bill findws it but Grant throws it into the pool and it explodes there. Grant tries to infect Bill by filling him with his stubstance. However Bill finds an oxygen tank and sticks Grant's tentical in the oxygen tank. Starla then shoots Grant. Grant and the 7 other wormbies next to him explode. Bill survives because Grant need to infect with both his tenticals. Bill, Kylie, and Starla walk outside the house and pass by 97 dead wormbies.
