The Dead Meat Wiki

Bill is an antagonist in Tremors: Shrieker Island.

Biography[]

Big game hunter Bill, owner of Avex-Bio Tech, organizes a hunting party on Dark Island, a private region where he operates his corporation, with his colleague Dr. Richards and best hunter Anna, where he brings affluent participants to hunt down Graboids.

When Jas notices Bill leaving Dark Island, she, Jimmy, and their mutual friend Ishimon headed out to find out what he was up to, and they discovered a dead Graboid.

Bill genetically developed the Graboids on the island and made them more powerful and smarter for his hunt, she discovers when she visits him at his camp. He also shut off communications so that he and his hunting team would be unable to be stopped.

Bill arrives to frighten Burt and urge him to stop hunting, but Burt is unfazed and tells Bill that the Graboids are a formidable foe no matter what plans are put in place to combat them. Burt tries to gather weapons only to discover that they don't have any firearms to protect themselves, only a WWII bunker with machetes, two M2 flamethrowers, and unstable explosives.

They eventually track down the Shriekers, who, like their parent Graboid, are superior than the originals in that they can now utilize their screams as sonic producing weapons, allowing them to eliminate Bill's crew one by one. When Burt and the others come, they kill the Shriekers and one Graboid, leaving only two Graboids. When they return to Jas' study site, they are astounded to hear that one of the Graboids has made it to their position, displaying indicators that it is far more strong than they all thought. Bill is warned by Burt to call off the hunt and reactivate the communication system, but he refuses. Bill uses a tranquilizer dart on Burt, trapping him and the others in the bunker.

Burt is able to saw the zip ties off when Jimmy remembers that the boots he provided to Burt had the laces replaced with 550 paracord. Meanwhile, Bill's hunt continues, but it goes awry when the Graboid that had previously arrived at the site reappears, and is dubbed "The Queen" due to its supremacy. When Bill's lust for the hunt becomes too risky and irrational for Anna, she quits.

Death[]

Burt tracks down Bill and attempts to reason with him, but he is unable to persuade him to abandon his search. When The Queen discovers them, Bill is devoured by The Queen. Burt understands The Queen is eliminating the weakest members of the group until only Burt, who Jimmy believes is the Alpha, is left.
