Angela Vidal is the main protagonist in Quarantine.
Biography[]
Angela was a news reporter working in Los Angeles. On the night of March 11th 2008 she was assigned to follow a group of firefighters working the night shift. At first her and cameraman Scott hung out with the firefighters at the station performing interviews and general feel-good segments for the show.
Later in the the evening they got a call out to an apartment building, shortly after they arrived on scene the building was placed in quarantine. They discovered that the residents of the building had become infected with a rabies like virus that made them violent.
When the building became completely over-run Angela and Scott made their way to the apartment on the top floor.
It is revealed that Angela somehow survived his attack and ended up meeting with the GEO Team. She accompanied them back to the penthouse, now using her camera to record the operation, so that Dr. Owens could retrieve a blood sample from The Thin Man. After being attacked by the man, Angela bursts his head with a shotgun. Upset that the only blood sample that could give a cure is gone, Owens refuses to allow Angela, stunned and in shock, to leave the building.
Trivia[]
- Unlike her counterpart in the [•REC] series (Ángela Vidal), James chose to include her death as there was no sequel to prove that she had lived. But turns out her survival was similar to the REC series.
