Alice Johnson is a character from the Nightmare on Elm Street series and the main protagonist of Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. She also appears in Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors where she is terminally ill due to her Dream Master abilities and sacrifices herself to Freddy to allow Jacob to absorb her abilities.
Biography[]
Dream Master[]
Alice is initially shown as a shy waitress and is the best friend of Kristen Parker. After Kristen is killed in a dream she summoned Alice into accidentally, Kristen gives Alice her dream pulling ability but it also passes through Freddy, giving him access to a new generation of Elm Street children. Alice finds to her surprise that each time one of her friends is killed, she begins to take on their traits (such as Kristen's smoking habit, Sheila's intellect, Rick's martial arts skill and Debbie's fearlessness). Alice is able to defeat Freddy using the Dream Master rhyme, causing all of the souls within Freddy to rip him apart from the inside.
Dream Child[]
In this film, Alice has graduated high school and finds she is pregnant with Dan's son, Jacob. However, the dreams are happening while Alice is awake since Freddy is now using Jacob's dreams to kill off her friends while also feeding Jacob souls to make him just like Freddy. Jacob defeats Freddy with Amanda Krueger's help and Alice absorbs Jacob's energy back into her body when he is reverted back into an infant.
